Co-organised by Yuens' Piano House and Hong Kong Piccolo Association, Éclair is an associated project of the French May Art Fest 2025. This unique flute and piano duo recital, paired with chamber music, showcases the versatility of the performers and the music itself through the lens of transcendence and philosophical depth. Join us on this musical journey to discover how music influences and evolves across generations, experiencing classic works from the renowned French composer collective "Les Six," while honouring Ravel's 150th birthday.

Karen Wong
Organiser & Flute
A Britten-Pears Young Artist 24/25. Recently worked with the London Symphony Orchestra, The Hallé, Northern Ballet Sinfonia, Scottish Ballet Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and Hong Kong Sinfonietta. In 2022, she won the British Flute Society Competition and 2nd prize in the Tampere Flute Fest Piccolo Competition.
Piano
Jamy Yuen and Kimy Yuen were awarded their Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy in 2011 at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar in Germany, and their Bachelor of Arts (Music) from The CUHK. They are also holders of the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music and Fellow of Trinity College London. “Duo Gemini" recently performed in CUHK Midday Oasis 2024, a Piano Duo Recital at Tsuen Wan Town Hall, Steinway & Sons Concerto and Duo Night 2023, a Concerto with the CUHK Chung Chi Wind Orchestra in 2018, and a piano four-hands recital at the Caritas Institute of Higher Education. They won Performance Prize in the Piano Duo Group at the 3rd Chinese Works Piano Competition and Special Award at the 10th Kayabuki Ongakudo International Competition for Piano Duo in 2017.


Flute
Flautist and conductor Marco Leung has performed in venues across Europe, Asia and Hong Kong, recently worked with Hong Kong New Music Ensemble and Opera Hong Kong. Apart from bring a concerto soloist, he also appeared in productions of French May Arts Festival and Macau International Music Festival. He was awarded his Master of Music with Distinction and Artist Diploma in Performance at the Royal College of Music, London.
Lai Tsoi Yin
Clarinet
Graduated from the CUHK with Bachelor of Arts in Music; Royal College of Music with Master of Music in Performance, Lai is an active orchestral and ensemble player. She is a member of the Giocoso Trio, which performed in the French May Arts Festival, the Afternoon series at Tai Kwun and Midday Oasis at CUHK. Lai is an enthusiastic clarinet tutor teaching at the Bauhinia Musik Haus and many local schools.
